Kissing Summer Goodbye: Reasons Why Everyone Loves Fall

Goodbye summer, hello FALL! The season we have all been waiting for is finally here and even though we’ve enjoyed summer, it’s time to say “so long!” Goodbye to the sweltering heat, long days, annoying visits from bugs and sunburns. Although summer is great for beaching and relaxing, fall brings many new and wonderful changes to the year.

Here are just a few of the many reasons that we all love fall!

Sweater weather is upon us. Fall fashion is a fav among many. Who doesn’t love cute booties, over-sized sweaters, bomber jackets and denim layers? Fall is also the best time to slay with your makeup because…dark lippies.

Pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING. For all of the Starbucks lovers and foodies, fall is the best time to devour pumpkin flavored treats and drinks. You know you have been waiting all year to order a Pumpkin Spice Latte, so now’s your chance! This fall, treat yourself to PSL, pumpkin pie vodka (yes, that’s a thing), pumpkin spice cupcakes, pumpkin EVERYTHING!

Movies and TV premieres are ten times better in the fall. Disney Halloween classics are about to make a comeback soon! Also, our favorite shows are making their way back into our lives such as Grey’s Anatomy, Empire, How to Get Away With Murder and many more. Fall is the time to cuddle under a blanket and enjoy some good entertainment without even leaving the couch!

GREY'S ANATOMY - ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" stars Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Sarah Drew as April Kepner, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Kim Raver as Teddy Altman, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang and Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery. Fall events make the best outings. Whether you are hanging with friends or spending a cozy date with a significant other, fall events are the best. This fall, attend a local fair or fall festival; a scary haunted house or a pumpkin patch to add some spice to your evenings.

The holiday season is upon us. Fall kicks off the holiday season with Halloween and Thanksgiving. Does dressing up and stuffing your belly sound fun? Then, prepare to enjoy a lot of that in just a few weeks!

Grab your bae because it’s cuddle season! Once you visit one of the fall events listed above, enjoy some snuggle time with your significant other because this is definitely the season to do so. It’s getting colder outside, so those late summer nights are coming to an end. However, fall gives you an excuse to get comfy and warm with the one you love!
