2017 Emmy Nominations Highlight ‘Westworld’ And ‘Saturday Night Live’

The nominations are in!

On Thursday morning, “Veep” actress Anna Chlumsky and “Criminal Minds” alum Shemar Moore announced the nominations for the 2017 Emmy Awards, on behalf of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

“Saturday Night Live” and “Westworld” lead the nominations with an impressive 22 nods each; the most nominations “SNL” has ever received for a single season. Hulu’s breakout “The Handmaid’s Tale” scored 13 nominations, including one for Elisabeth Moss (Lead Actress in a Drama Series) and one for director Reed Morano. In total, HBO earned 110 nominations for its programming, while Netflix came in second with 91 nods
